Purchased this microwave 1.5 years ago and the cheap plastic touch screen is failing. This,...without much use - certainly not daily use! There is no backlighting of the control panel, so if you are hard of seeing or your kitchen doesn't have adequate lighting where you've placed this microwave - this may present a problem. On the plus side, it looks good and it does what it's supposed to do: cook food and heat up stuff.After 4 mo. turntable made terrible noise; wouldn’t go round. $13 to return docs&cord $10 to ship.Replmnt dmgd. Glass tray, turnring not secured in box &dented inside door lining. I called asked to take back &refund $. NO, wanted me to repeat same as before. Cost $8 to haul away 1st time and now again?? Who knows what I’d have received 3rd time Gave to nephew and buying one in store so I can have got holiday entertaining and it won’t be an AVANTI !!it’s nice and easy to useMy husband saw this in an office building he was working in and just had to have it in the new kitchen! For a single person household this is perfect.we have ordered more of them for work because the 1st one worked great1I had to keep in in the box because of my living situation.
