The item does look like the image. However, the instructions are not always clear. First, there were several instances where we had to undo something because the instructions and labels did not specify the front of a metal support from the back, which was important for securing the shelves. Second, and most importantly: in order the create the drawer, your NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE STEEL JOINT CONNECTOR SCREW AND NUT (as seen in the image). If you do not know how, you WILL spend half an hour youtubing tutorials because the instructions DO NOT tell you how to use these weird, two-piece screws. Also, you will most likely need two people to assemble parts of this unless you are skilled in holding a shelf in place with one hand and placing and tightening a screw with the other. Side note: I wish the crews only needed one type of tightener. This required both a screwdriver AND a L-wrench for tightening and it was a bit tedious having to switch between the two.
